Positioned between a mountain and a bay, Tangub City is mostly plains along the coast. Its rolling hills gradually rise into the Mt. Malindang National Forest Reservation area.

With Mt. Malindang on one side and Panguil Bay on the other, Tangub City has land ideal for agriculture, especially for mangoes, bananas, melons, and watermelons. The waters off the city are also a good source of food and industry, with its mud crabs, shrimps, and prawns.

But you might be surprised to find out that Tangub City is most known for Christmas. The locals have taken the season whole new level with an extra-long holiday celebration and oversized decor.
